Hurricane Irma has gradually made its way from the Caribbean Islands to the Keys, and then onto mainland Florida. Having now reduced down to a Tropical Storm from a Category 5 Hurricane, Irma has left 6.2 million people without power, and hundreds of thousands misplaced with little to no access to gas, food, and proper communication. Unfortunately 28 people have died as a result of the extreme weather conditions, including flooding and broken power lines. As the path of this over 400-mile hurricane was little-able to be predicted, even those to were able to prepare were caught blind.
Thousands have been evacuated, many having to abandon everything they own, just to be safe. Without proper shelter, lack of food, clean water, and access to communication tools, IT Creations is proud to partner with Feeding South Florida.
IT Creations strongly believes in community, whether it be locally or nationally. In an effort to continue our mission, helping to prevent or mitigate damage, rescue those in danger, and aid in recovery efforts, IT Creations has pledged to match up to 25K in total combined contributions.
