Offering 64GB of HBM2e ECC memory, the AMD Instinct MI210 GPU has a 4096-bit memory interface, a clock rate of 1.6 GHz, and a 1.6 TB/s peak memory bandwidth to help support complex workloads. The GPU features up to 104 compute units, or 6656 stream processors, 416 texture mapping units, and 0 ROPs. The GPU operates at 1000 MHz, which can be overclocked up to 1700 MHz, with memory running at 1600 MHz. Given that it is not intended to have monitors attached to it, this device does not have display connectivity.
Built on a 6nm process with the Aldebaran graphics processor, the top of the card has 3x Infinity Fabric 3.0 links that connect a MI210 card to one or more other cards, creating a two- or four-way card cluster. The dual slot card draws power from a single 8-pin power connector with power drawn at a maximum of 300W. This fully passive dual slot card design, like the majority of server accelerators, depends heavily on airflow from the server chassis to stay cool.
