This accelerator uses a PCIe 4.0 x16 bus interface coupled with AMD’s Infinity Fabric Technology. The AMD MI250X card is a powerful GPU specifically built for exascale server applications and HPC and AI workloads. AMD has fully unlocked this card’s stream processors with a count of 14,080 and 220x compute units. It has a memory capacity of 128GB HBM2e delivering a bandwidth of 3.2 TB/s with a 8192-bit memory interface. Card performance at peak half precision is 383 TFLOPs and 47.9 TFLOPs at single or double precision.

The AMD MI250X has a passive and liquid cooling solution and PCIe 4.0 x16 interface to connect to your system. Outfitted with 8x Infinity Fabric Links with peak speeds of 100 GB/s, each, it can provide up to 800GB/s I/O. The MI250X has a thermal design point of 500W, which increases to 560W at peak usage.
