To fully take advantage of the GPU's 8GB of GDDR5 memory, the AMD WX 7100 GPU features an impressive 256-bit Memory Bus. That would be a 100% increase in performance over the AMD FirePro W7000 graphics card which only offers 4GB of GDDR5 memory. The WX 7100 has a bandwidth of 224.0 GB/s.
This graphics processing unit has a base clock speed of 1188 MHz which can be boosted up to 1243 MHz. 2304 Stream processors support up to 5.728 TFLOPS for FP16 and FP32 performance points. The FP 64 performance point comes in at 358.0 GFLOPs. It also features 144 texture units and 32 Raster Operations (ROPs). It will support up to 4x 4K monitors or 1x Single-cable 5K monitor or two dual-cable 5K monitors.
The AMD WX 7100 GPU features a unique cooling architecture. The closed channel aluminum fins have a vapor channel underneath it to help mitigate heat build up. The built-in fan spins at up to 5000 RPM.
