ASUS RS501A-E12-RS4 Server

At 1U, the ASUS RS501A-E12-RS4 Server supports a single socket compatible with AMD EPYC 9004 or 9005 series processors, as well as those with AMD 3D V-Cache technology. These CPUs support up to 192 Zen 5c cores, a maximum TDP of up to 360W, and a 12-channel memory architecture. 2x DIMMs per channel are available for a total of 24x memory module slots. At capacity, up to 2TB of memory can be deployed with standard RDIMMs or 3DS RDIMMs. Depending on the type of CPU installed, memory speeds range from 4800 MHz to 5200MHz.

ASUS RS501A-E12-RS4 Server - System Overview

Up to 3x PCIe 5.0 slots can be accessed through the rear of the 1U chassis, as well as 1x OCP 3.0 Gen5 x16 slot. Under the hood, the ASUS RS501A-E12-RS4 supports 2x single-slot GPUs and 2x M.2 slots for Gen4 x4 link or SATA mode, which can accommodate up to 22110 modules. On the front of the system, administrators can load 4x 3.5” hot-swap SATA/SAS drive bays. This system is powered by either a 1+1 redundant 1200W 80 PLUS Platinum power supply or a 1+1 redundant 1600W 80 PLUS Titanium power supply.

The RS501A-E12-RS4 is designed for cloud and on-premises data centers, as well as hybrid cloud environments across various industries. To manage the system, users can control hardware, software updates and more with the web-based ASUS Control Center. Although a license is needed, administrators are able to control servers, workstations, and more commercial products all in one place. The ASUS ASMB11-iKVM also provides remote control by accessing the ASPEED AST2600 module built into the motherboard.
