Powered by dual 4th generation AMD EPYC 9004 processors, including those with 3D V-Cache technology, the RS720A-E12-RS12 Server can deliver up to 128 Zen 4c cores per socket. Enhanced-volume air-cooling (EVAC) heatsinks enable higher TDP processors of up to 400W per socket. In addition, 12-channel memory architecture provides memory speeds of up to 4800 MHz. With 12x DDR5 DIMM slots per socket, the server can support up to 6TB of memory. Nine PCIe 5.0 slots on riser cards are accessible from the rear, offering higher bandwidth and seamless system upgrades. For improved connectivity, the rear panel also includes 2x optional 10Gbps or 4x 1Gbps on-board LAN modules, as well as an OCP 3.0 module.
