Dell EMC PowerEdge R250 Server

The Dell EMC PowerEdge R250 server is a 1U, single-socket machine powered by either an Intel Xeon E-2300 series processor with up to 8 cores or one Intel Pentium processor with up to 2 cores. When 32GB DDR4 UDIMMs are installed in all 4x DIMM slots, it is capable of providing up to 128GB and memory speeds of 3200MT/s. However, the Pentium CPU can only run memory at a maximum speed of 2666MT/s.

Designed for small to medium sized businesses, this platform is Ideal for file/print, mail/messaging, point of sale, web hosting and collaboration. The front panel of the PowerEdge R250 can hold up to 4x 3.5" SAS/SATA drives or 8x 2.5" SAS/SATA drives. It has 4x different power supply unit (PSU) options including 450W Bronze, 450W Platinum, 700W Titanium AC, or 700W Titanium DC. A total of 2x PCIe slots with 1x PCIe Gen4 x8 supporting a x16 connector and the other supporting a x8 connector are available on the server board. Dell’s iDRAC Direct and OpenManage suite of management tools are some of the programs that can monitor, control, and troubleshoot the components.
