Dell EMC PowerEdge R350 Server

Commonly used for enterprise-level demands on data analysis and virtualization, as well as point-of-sale transactions, the Dell EMC PowerEdge R350 server offers a single Intel Xeon E-2300 processor with up to 8 cores or one Intel Pentium processor with up to 2 cores. This is an entry-level platform that delivers a maximum of 128GB when all 4x DIMM slots are populated by 32GB DDR4 UDIMMs, providing memory speeds of up to 3200MT/s. The maximum memory speed enabled by the Pentium CPU is 2666MT/s. Up to 4x 3.5” SAS/SATA drives or 8x 2.5” SAS/SATA drives can be loaded onto the front panel.

Dell EMC PowerEdge R350 Server - System Overview

With its 1U design, the PowerEdge R350 server has built-in telemetry streaming, thermal management, and RESTful API with Redfish offering streamlined visibility and control for better server management. The system’s motherboard supports a total of 3x PCIe Gen 4 slots with 1x PCIe Gen4 x16 and 1x PCIe Gen4 x8 low-profile, half-length cards. The remaining slot is a x4 PCIe Gen4 x8 connector for a dedicated PowerEdge RAID Controller (PERC) card. This server is designed with a cyber-resilient architecture, integrating security deeply into every phase in the lifecycle, from design to retirement. With System Erase, administrators can securely and quickly wipe all data including from hard drives, SSDs, and system memory.
