Under the hood of each server node, Administrators can install 1x or 2 x M.2 SSDs to boot the operating system. Additionally, 2x PCIe x16 Gen5 low-profile slots plus a single OCP 3.0 x16 Gen5 slot, a micro iDRAC direct port, and a mini-display port that can be accessed through the back of each node. The system supports different operating systems and hypervisors including Canonical Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Microsoft Windows Server with Hyper-V, among others. Management of the system is through Dell’s integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) with lifecycle Controller or through the Dell OpenManage utility offering a more comprehensive management solution. Both can provide out-of-band management of the system depending on your licensing level.
