Powered by dual AMD EPYC 9005 series processors with up to 192 cores, the Dell PowerEdge R6725 server offers a 12-channel memory architecture and support for 24x DIMMs. It can accommodate up to 3TB of DDR5 RDIMM memory. This 1U system is designed for flexibility and is capable of housing up to 3x single-width GPUs making it ideal for demanding workloads such as high-performance computing, virtualization, and other emerging workloads.

Under the hood, the Dell R6725 server delivers 3x PCIe Gen5 slots with a x16 connector and dual OCP 3.0 slots offering flexibility to meet workload requirements. Power is provided by a choice of two redundant configurations: either a 1+1 800W/1100W 80 PLUS Platinum power supply or a 1+1 800W to 1800W 80 PLUS Titanium power supply. With an air-cooled layout, the PowerEdge R6725 server supports several drive bay configurations with LFF, SFF, and EDSFF E3.S options on the front panel.

An optional Boot Optimized Storage Subsystem (BOSS-N1) can be used to support the operating system with either a single M.2 drive or dual M.2 drives for redundancy in a mirror RAID. The server is equipped with the integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC10) to streamline system management. iDRAC10 facilitates both local and remote access without the need for additional software installations. It supports a RESTful API, including Redfish with specific extensions to enable efficient and scalable server management. For management of the entire infrastructure, Dell offers OpenManage Enterprise or OME. OME offers integration with other third-party management utilities.
