The PowerEdge XE7745 server offers flexible GPU configurations. A PCIe Base Board (PBB) supports up to 16x single-wide 75W PCIe Gen5 x16 GPUs, such as the NVIDIA L4, or up to 8x double-wide 600W GPUs, like the NVIDIA H200 NVL Tensor Core. The air-cooled chassis includes 8x EDSFF E3.S Gen5 NVMe SSDs for high-speed storage, along with 2x M.2 NVMe SSDs configured as a Boot Optimized Storage Subsystem (BOSS-N1). Beyond GPU support, the server can also handle up to 8x single-wide, full-height, half-length (SW-FHHL) PCIe Gen5 x16 cards, each drawing up to 150W, plus an optional OCP 3.0 NIC for enhanced networking flexibility.
The system is powered by 8x 3200W Titanium hot-swappable power supply 4+4 redundancy. For simplified management, the server includes Dell’s integrated iDRAC10, enabling full system monitoring and control, both locally or remotely, without requiring additional software. iDRAC10 also supports automation and large-scale management. For centralized infrastructure management, Dell offers OpenManage Enterprise (OME), which integrates seamlessly with a variety of third-party tools.
