Additional InformationThe Dell XE9680L server supports dual 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors each with up to 64 cores paired with the Intel C741 chipset. Memory configuration includes 32x DDR5 RDIMM slots running at speeds up to 5600 MT/s, and providing a maximum capacity of 4TB. Storage options feature up to 8x 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe drives. A Boot Optimized Storage Subsystem using 2x M.2 SSDs in a hardware RAID 1 can be used to boot the system. Expansion is provided by up to 12x PCIe Gen5 x16 full-height half-length slots plus 1x OCP 3.0 slot. The Dell PowerEdge XE9680L supports two NVIDIA GPU configurations. One option consists of 8x NVIDIA HGX H200 GPUs. Each GPU has 141GB of memory and operates at 700W in the SXM5 form factor. These GPUs are fully interconnected with NVIDIA NVLink technology. The second option consists of 8x NVIDIA HGX B200 GPUs. Each GPU has 180GB of memory and operates at 1000W in the SXM form factor. These GPUs are also fully interconnected with NVIDIA NVLink technology. Management on the PowerEdge XE9680L is handled by iDRAC9 and the OpenManage portfolio.
