At 10U, this air-cooled system features 2x 6th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 86 cores and a maximum TDP of 350W each. With 8x memory channel architecture, and 16x DIMMs per CPU, up to 4TB of memory can be installed. Speeds of up to 6400 MT/s can be achieved with a 1 DPC (DIMMs Per Channel) configuration or 5200 MT/s with 2 DPC.

The Dell XE9780 Server delivers GPU acceleration via 8x NVIDIA HGX B300 NVL8 (270 GB, 1100W) SXM6 GPUs or 8x NVIDIA HGX B200 (180 GB, 1000W) SXM6 GPUs. Interconnected with NVIDIA NVLink, the system delivers high-bandwidth and low-latency scaling. Storage includes 16x E3.S Gen5 NVMe direct drives or up to 10x U.2 Gen5 NVMe SSDs (pRTS). Optional is the BOSS-N1 with dual M.2 SSDs, which can be used to boot the system. Expansion and networking are enabled through up to 4x 150W Gen5 x16 FHHL PCIe slots with an 8x NVIDIA B300 GPU configuration, or up to 4x 150W or 8x 75W Gen5 x16 FHHL slots with an 8x NVIDIA B200 GPU configuration.
Additionally, there is 1x OCP NIC card 3.0 supported by a x8 PCIe lane. To cool the XE9780 Server, administrators can deploy 5x standard cold-swap cooling fans on the mid tray for the HPM sled, and 15x standard hot-swap rear fans dedicated to GPU cooling. This system is powered by 12x 3200W Titanium power supplies.
