Dell PowerEdge XR4000z Chassis with XR4510c Sled

Designed for edge applications, up to 4x Dell PowerEdge XR4510c Sleds can be installed in the PowerEdge XR4000r chassis, while the XR4000z can support up to 2x of these server sleds. Delivering high-performance compute, this system supports a number of applications including, virtual desktop integration, machine vision, video surveillance, vSAN and VM, plus use as a point-of-sale device. The XR4000r chassis is a 2U, rack-mountable unit that offers easy scalability by incorporating additional sleds into the chassis or adding additional chassis to the infrastructure. Other options include the PowerEdge XR4520c sled, which is a nearly 2U, half-width server sled with expansion options for NICs, HD controllers or GPUs. The PowerEdge XR4520c can also be installed in conjunction with the XR4510c server sled.

In addition to the integrated network connectivity provided by 2x LAN ports on the back of the system, there is a dedicated management LAN port for remote management. Management of the system is through the integrated Dell Remote Access Controller 9.0 or iDRAC9. In addition, for more advanced management Dell offer OpenManage, which can be upgraded to the OpenManage Enterprise console. OpenManage offers a comprehensive solution for PowerEdge servers.
