Gigabyte B343-C40 Blade Server

Offering 10x individual server nodes in a 3U chassis, the Gigabyte B343-C40 High Density Server features a single AMD EPYC 4005 or AMD Ryzen 9000-series processor, per node. Processors are limited to a thermal design power threshold of up to 170W. With dual channel memory CPUs, each node also supports 4x ECC or non-ECC UDIMM DDR5 DIMM slots.

Additional Information

There are 2x internal 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe/SATA bays, per node. Each node in the Gigabyte B343-C40 High Density Server also has a single NVMe M.2 slot to boot the system without taking away the 2x internal storage drives. With 1x DIMM per Channel (1DPC) memory can run at up to 5600MT/s or up to 3600MT/s with 2DPC. There are three chassis options for this high-density server, with the only difference being the integrated network port speeds.

For expansion, each node has a full-height, half-length PCIe x16 slot with a x16 PCIe gen5 interface. There are also 3x OCP NIC 3.0 slots for multi-host use only, which allows for all 10x server nodes in this high-density server to share the NICs. There are also 2x Chassis Management Controller (CMC) ports allowing for all nodes to be managed together and connected to other B343 series servers in a ring topology. Powering the system are 4x redundant 2000W 80 PLUS Titanium power supply units (PSU). This system also features Gigabyte’s Management Console, which is pre-installed, and the Gigabyte Server Management or GSM.
