The 1U Gigabyte E143-E30 Edge Server is designed for high-performance computing applications such as file storage, autonomous vehicles, eCommerce, and more. It supports a single AMD EPYC 8004 series processor with up to 64 cores and 128 threads, plus a TDP of up to 225W. This CPU features a 6-channel memory architecture and can support up to 1TB of memory when all 12x memory slots are fitted with 96GB DDR5 RDIMMs.
On the front of the Gigabyte E143-E30 Server there are 2x 2.5” hot-swappable drive bays with lime green tabs for Gen5 NVMe, SATA, or SAS4 configurations. A single M.2 slot with a PCIe Gen3 x4 interface is also available. SAS drives and RAID support will require a storage controller. The server provides expansion options with two riser cards, each supporting 1x PCIe Gen5 x16 FHHL slot. Just below these slots there are 2x OCP 3.0 Gen5 x16 slots. Depending on the model revision, the server can support a dual 850W redundant 80 PLUS Titanium or Platinum power supply.

Using Gigabyte’s proprietary management tools, administrators can control this system both at-chassis or remotely. The pre-installed Gigabyte Management Console allows for the management of individual servers or small clusters. Gigabyte also offers the Gigabyte Server Management (GSM) suite for download, which is ideal for overseeing large-scale server clusters remotely.
