Gigabyte E283-S90 Server

Two iterations of the Gigabyte E283-S90 server are available. Each has the same number of drive bays but a different power supply. On the rear of the system there are 4x 2.5" Gen4 NVMe/SATA/SAS hot-swappable bays. Under the hood, the motherboard supports dual 5th or 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors or Xeon CPU Max series with a TDP of up to 350W. 16x DDR5 DIMM slots besides each CPU provide a total of 32x DIMMs supporting up to 8TB of memory, plus Intel Optane Persistent Memory 300 series modules. Four large fans help cool all of the components including 6x FHHL PCIe Gen5 x16 slots.

The 2U E283-S90 server is ideal for networking and edge applications. There are two revisions for this server, the rev. AAD1 and rev. AAV1. Both servers have the same components with the exception of power supplies, which feature Platinum or Titanium rated PSUs, respectively.
