Gigabyte E283-Z90 Server

There are four 2.5" Gen4 NVMe/SATA/SAS hot-swappable bays on the back of the Gigabyte E283-Z90 server, plus 2 x M.2 slots with a PCIe Gen3 interface on the motherboard for additional storage. The system is powered by dual AMD EPYC 9004 series processors, which support 24x DDR5 memory modules accessing a 12-channel memory architecture. A total of 6TB of memory is supported when all DIMM slots are filled with 256GB 3DS RDIMMs. Half of the maximum memory is supported with 128GB RDIMMs. Four FHHL PCIe Gen5 x16 slots and two FHHL PCIe Gen5 x8 slots are kept cool by 4x 80x80x38mm fans on the front panel that spin at 18,300 rpm.

The Gigabyte E283-Z90 server is a flexible appliance designed for networking applications, including use as a file server, a shared Internet connection, access for remote workers via VPN and a host of other uses. Power is provided by dual redundant 1600W 80 PLUS Platinum PSUs.
