Gigabyte G293-S45 Server

Supporting up to 8x dual-slot Gen5 x16 GPU cards, the Gigabyte G293-S45 server is ideal for AI, AI training, AI inference, and mission critical workloads. Dual 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 64 cores and a TDP of up to 350W are supported. Up to 1TB of DDR5 Registered DIMMs (RDIMM) can be installed or up to 4TB of memory using 256GB 3DS RDIMM modules. The server has 8x 2.5” Gen4 NVMe/SATA/SAS hot-swappable drive bays.

Gigabyte G293-S45 Server - System Overview

Gigabyte G293-S45 front A SAS card is required for SAS device support. If NVMe drives are installed, additional NVMe cables are needed and will require a few PCIe slots. CPUs from the Platinum, Gold, and Silver processor families can be installed. Featuring 8-channel memory architecture, the Intel Xeon processors will enable a total of 16x DDR5 DIMMs with 1x DIMM per channel. A riser card under the hood that supports 2x PCIe Gen5 x16 low-profile slots for additioanl network controllers or a SAS card.

Gigabyte G293-S45 rear Gigabyte's Smart Crises Management and Protection (SCMP) technology is paired with dual 3000W (240V) 80 PLUS Titanium redundant power supplies to power the platform. With SCMP, the system will put the CPU into an extremely low power mode to minimize the power load, preventing an unplanned shutdown and preventing component damage or data loss in the event of a malfunctioning PSU or overheated system. The Gigabyte Server Management (GSM) software helps control the system at-chassis or remotely by utilizing programs such as GSM Server, GSM CLI, GSM Agent, GSM Mobile, and GSM Plugin.
