The 2U Gigabyte G293-S47 GPU server is powered by two 4th or 5th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with a maximum TDP of up to 225W and 64 cores. A total of 16x DDR5 memory module slots supported by 8-channel memory architecture can be found under the hood. At full capacity it can provide up to 4TB of memory. 8x 2.5” hot-swap drive bays on the front panel, support Gen5 NVMe or SATA drive types. With support for up to 4x GPUs, this system is ideal for general artificial intelligence, LLM inference, small model training and fine-tuning to 3D graphics, rendering, and video applications.
Up to 96GB standard RDIMM memory modules or up to 256GB 3DS RDIMMs modules are supported. Speeds differ depending on the CPU generation, but can reach up to 5600 MT/s. OVX systems are purpose-built for creating and managing NVIDIA Omniverse enterprise applications. Supermicro’s NVIDIA OVX system, offers 3x riser cards to accommodate 4x NVIDIA L40S GPUs. The L40S is a universal GPU for the data center, delivering end-to-end acceleration for the next generation of AI-enabled applications.
The NVIDIA-certified Gigabyte G293-S47 server supports a single NVIDIA Bluefield-3 DPU in a Gen5 x16 slot for traditional enterprises, modern cloud workloads, and high-performance computing. On the rear panel, administrators have access to dual NVIDIA ConnectX-7 network interface controllers (NICs). Dual 3000W redundant PSUs with an 80 PLUS Titanium rating provide the power. To manage the G293-S47, the Aspeed AST2600 management controller provides remote management of the system using the Gigabyte Management Console featuring a browser-based web interface.
