The Gigabyte G293-Z21 GPU server is a 2U rack server designed for AI, AI training, AI inference applications, as well as high-performance computing. It is powered by a single AMD EPYC 9004 Series processor which supports 12x DDR5 DIMM slots for up to 3TB of memory. On the front of the system there are 4x 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe/SATA/SAS hot swappable drive bays and 4x 2.5-inch SATA/SAS drive bays. Up to 4x dual slot Gen5 GPU cards can be installed on this server.
Ideal for intensive Artificial Intelligence applications, the Gigabyte G293-Z21 server can support a 9004 Series AMD EPYC processor with up to 84x physical cores and 168x virtual threads. Dual PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots are available on the system board, ideal for OS installation or fast access storage needs. The rear of the system houses 2x 10GbE Base-T LAN ports and a single 10/100/10000 Management LAN port. 4x full-height, full-length PCIe Gen5 x16 slots capable of supporting 4x dual slot 350W GPUs. Add-on cards can be installed on 2x low-profile PCIe Gen5 x16 slots on the rear of the chassis. This system is powered by 2x 3000W 80 Plus Titanium power supplies in a redundant configuration.
The system can be managed using Gigabyte’s Management Console for one server or a small cluster of servers. To manage more systems, Gigabyte offers Gigabyte Server Management for multiple servers or large clusters of servers.
*A discrete SAS controller is required for SAS drive support.
