Powered by dual 9004 Series AMD EPYC processors the Gigabyte G293-Z40 GPU server is designed for high-performance computing applications such as AI inferencing and AI training. It can hold up to 8x dual-slot Gen4 GPU cards. There are 24x DDR5 DIMM slots on the system board capable of supporting up to 6TB of memory. 4x 2.5-inch hot-swappable Gen5 NVMe/SATA/SAS drive bays and 4x 2.5-inch hot-swappable SATA/SAS drive bays provide storage options to suite your business needs.

Dual AMD EPYC 9004 Series processor with up to 32x physical cores and 64x virtual threads can be installed in the Gigabyte G293-Z40 is supports., there are 2x 10Gb/s Base-T LAN ports on the rear of the system provide basic network communications and are paired with a single dedicated management LAN port. There are 8x full-height, full-length PCIe 4.0 x16 slots for GPUs, plus 2x low-profile 5.0 x16 slots for add-on cards. This system is powered by 2x 3000W 80 Plus Titanium power supplies in a redundant configuration.

Using the integrated ASPEED AST2600 baseboard management controller (BMC) Administrators can access the Gigabyte G293-Z40 Server remotely. Gigabyte provides the Gigabyte Management Console for a single server or a small cluster of servers, which is preloaded on the system. The Gigabyte Server Manager (GSM) can be used to manage multiple servers or large clusters of servers by accessing the Gigabyte Management Console in each chassis through the GSM Agent.
