Up to 8x dual-slot Gen5 GPUs can be installed on the dual-socket Gigabyte G293-Z42 GPU server. Ideal for AI training, inferencing and high-performance computing, the system board houses dual AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors and 24x DDR5 DIMM slots. The front of the system has 8x 2.5-inch SATA/SAS drive bays, with 4x of those bays capable of supporting Gen5 NVMe drives.
Designed for high-performance computing applications such as AI inferencing and training, the Gigabyte G263-Z42 can deliver up to 6TB of memory using 256GB 3DS RDIMMs. The rear of this server supports 2x 10Gb/s Base-T LAN ports as well as a single dedicated management port. 8x full-height, full-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slots can be found on the system board, compatible with Gen5 dual-slot GPUs. Powering the system are dual 3000W 80 PLUS Titanium redundant PSUs.
Gigabyte provides options for management of the Gigabyte G293-Z42 Server via the Gigabyte Management Console or the Gigabyte Server Manager (GSM), GSM utilizes the integrated Gigabyte Management Console through the Gigabyte Agent to access server information remotely and at chassis through the ASPEED AST2600 baseboard management controller.
