Gigabyte G294-S41 GPU Server

The 2U Gigabyte G294-S41 GPU server features 24x DIMM slots, with 6x slots located on each side of the CPUs. These slots support RDIMMs at 6400 MT/s and MCR DIMMs at 8000 MT/s. Mulitplexor Combined Ranks DIMMs (MCR DIMMs) are only compatible with Intel Xeon 6 processors that have P-cores in a 1DPC configuration. The server is equipped with dual Intel Xeon 6 series processors, supporting both the 6700 series with E-cores and P-cores, as well as the 6500 series with P-cores. The 6700E-Series processors only support up to 16x DIMM slots.

The Gigabyte G294-S41 server is equipped with 8x hot-swappable front drive bays that accommodate 2.5" drives in Gen5 NVMe, SAS4, or SATA configurations. A SAS card is required to support SAS drives. For expansion, the system includes 3x riser cards, in which two provide 2x FHFL Gen5 x16 or 4x FHFL Gen5 x8 slots for GPUs for a total of 4 or 8 GPUs. The remaining riser delivers 2x low-profile Gen5 x16 slots. The rear of the server holds a dual 3000W redundant Titanium Level (96%) power supply.

Gigabyte provides two free tools to help manage servers: the pre-installed Gigabyte Management Console (GMC) and Gigabyte Server Management (GSM) available for download. GMC can manage a few servers or small setups, while GSM is better for handling larger server clusters. Both tools let you monitor and control servers from anywhere, using a web browser and an easy-to-use interface.
