Network communications on the Gigabyte G3L5-DR4-L08 GPU Server include 8x 800Gb/s OSFP InfiniBand ports or Ethernet GPU networking ports via 8x single port NVIDIA ConnectX-9 virtual protocol interconnect (VPI) ports. NVIDIA’s NVLink and NVLink Switch delivers 3.6TB GPU-to-GPU connection speeds. 12x 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe hot-swap bays line the front of the chassis. To boot the system, 2x PCIe Gen4 x4 slots can be outfitted with 2x NVMe M.2 drives. The system is housed in a rack with a 54V DC Bus Bar and connects automatically.
Each CPU supports 16x DDR5 memory module slots for 32 total between both processors. Supported memory include Registered DIMMs (RDIMM) and Multiplexed Rank DIMMs (MRDIM).
