Gigabyte G493-SB0 Server
Designed to take on mission-critical workloads, the Gigabyte G493-SB0 server sports tons of processing power, large amounts of storage, fast networking, plus computational accelerators. Dual 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, including Max series CPUs, with a thermal design power (TDP) of up to 350W can be loaded into the LGA 4677 Socket E. 16x DDR5 DIMM slots assigned to each CPU, for a total of 32x memory modules slots with a maximum capacity of up to 8TB of RAM. The system’s CPU temperature, fan speed, and other settings can be controlled using the Gigabyte Management Console through the Aspeed AST2600 baseboard management controller.
8x PCIe Gen5 x16 full-height, full-length slots for GPUs are located on the rear of the 4U, dual root Gigabyte G493-SB0 GPU server. The front panel supports 8x 3.5" or 2.5" Gen5 NVMe/SATA hot-swappable bays and 4x 3.5" or 2.5" SATA hot-swappable bays. The hybrid backplane supports PCIe Gen5 x4 or SATA at 6Gb/s. Under the hood on the motherboard, administrators will find a single PCIe Gen3 x1 slot for support of an M.2 drive for 2280 or 22110 cards, to boot the OS. To power this platform, there are 4x 3000W (240V) 80 PLUS Titanium power supplies offering 3+1 redundancy.
