Each CPU socket houses 12x DDR5 DIMM slots for a total of 24x DIMM slots on the system board. With support from up to 8x high-performance AMD Instinct GPUs, the Gigabyte G593-ZX2 server is ideal for workloads in AI, AI Inference, and AI Training. The AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors are limited to those with a thermal design point (TDP) of 300W, and conditional support for those of up to 400W under limited thermal conditions. CPU options include standard CPUs code name Genoa with up to 96 cores, Genoa-X featuring 3D V-Cache Technology with up to 1125MB of L3 cache, and Bergamo CPUs delivering the highest core count at up to 128 cores. Each CPU is connected to a single M.2 PCIe Gen3 slot, for two total, which can be used for fast access storage needs or OS installation.

The GPUs are housed on a separate GPU board supporting AMDs 4th generation Infinity Fabric. For additional I/O, storage, or PCIe cards, there are 4x FHHL PCIe Gen 5.0 x16 slots, and 8x LP Gen 5.0 x16 slots. Dual 10Gb/s Base-T LAN ports via Intel X710-AT2 can be found on this system along with a single dedicated management port. The Aspeed AST2600 baseboard management controller (BMC) is accessed by the dedicated management LAN port and provides remote management of the system. Powering this system are 6x 3000W 80 Plus Titanium power supplies, 2x of which are for redundancy.
