Additional InformationDesigned for high-performance computing, AI, Deep Learning and Inference, plus AI Training, compute is provided by dual AMD EPYC 9005 or 9004-series processors with a configurable Thermal Design Power (cTDP) rating of up to 500W. At a TDP of 500W, that includes the entire AMD EPYC product line, including CPUs with up to 192 physical cores and 384 virtual threads, each. Both 9005 and 9004 series CPUs offer 12-channel memory architecture and with 24x memory module slots divided between the CPUs, each memory module can realize the full memory bandwidth and speed. Memory speed is dependent on the memory module with 9005-series CPUs offering speeds of up to 6400MT/s and 9004-series processors up to 4800MT/s.
As for storage, there are 8x 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe hot-swap drive bays. 2x internal PCIe 3.0 slots for M.2 drives provide support for the OS or a hypervisor. In addition to the PCIe lanes consumed by the GPUs, there are 4x full-height, half-length (FHHL) dual-slots PCIe x16 slots and 8x FHHL single-slot x16 slots. All PCIe slots are PCIe 5.0 with a x16 link width. The front of the chassis has 2x 10GbE ports for general networking but can support several NVIDIA BlueField-2 GPU cards offering up to 200Gb/s per port. The system offers 6 + 6 redundant 3000W 80 Plus Titanium power supplies in back. 
A management LAN (MLAN) port in the back provides remote access to the system using an AST2600 Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) microprocessor. Gigabyte offers two options to manage the system, either the stand-alone Gigabyte Management Console for a single server or small cluster, or Gigabyte Server Manager (GSM) for managing large clusters of servers. GSM offers several additional utilities including; the core GSM program for real-time remote control using a user-friendly graphical interface, GSM CLI, GSM Mobile and a plugin for use with VMware vCenter.
