Gigabyte H261-Z61 Server - System Overview

Gigabyte H261-Z61 node There are 8x expansion slots in the platform altogether, with each server node offering 2x low-profile PCIe Gen3 x16 slots, as well as 1x OCP 2.0 mezzanine slot with PCIe Gen3 x16 bandwidth.Designed for hybrid and private cloud server applications, each node on the high-density H261-Z61 server features 2 x 1GbE LAN ports and a single dedicated management port, which can be accessed through the rear of the chassis.

The integrated Gigabyte management port (AMI MegaRAC SP-X) on each server node provides access to the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) for event logs, remote access, sensor logs, inventory, and more. For chassis-level management and node-level monitoring Gigabyte’s H-Series servers have an Aspeed CMC (Central Management Controller). This results in fewer Top of Rack (ToR) cabling and switch connections because only one MLAN connection is needed to monitor all 4x nodes. This platform can also leverage the Gigabyte Server Management software suite for managing several servers or large clusters of server.
