Loaded with dual 7001/7002/7003 series AMD EPYC processors, the Gigabyte H262-Z61 server supports a total of 8x CPUs within 4x nodes. 7002 and 7003 series CPUs deliver up to 64 cores and 128 threads with a TDP of up to 200W. The 2U chassis holds 64x DIMM slots with an 8-channel memory architecture per processor. Paired with a 7002 series CPU, standard 128GB RDIMMs or LRDIMMs in all slots the server supports a maximum capacity of up to 8TB of memory. Up to 16TB can be installed using 7003-series CPUs. On the front panel, there are 24x 2.5” SAS/SATA hot-swappable drive bays which can be configured with HDD or SSD drives and are divided between the 4x nodes.
On the back of each node, there is 1x dedicated management port, 1x OCP 2.0 Gen3 x16 mezzanine slot, and 2 x 1GbE LAN ports. Each of the nodes on the H262-Z61 server also include includes 2x low profile PCIe Gen4 x16 expansion slots and 2x M.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 slots for cards with interface types 2242, 2260, 2280, or 22110. Powered by dual 2200W redundant 80 PLUS Platinum PSUs, this system has the ability to rapidly engage in a variety of workloads within a range of industries.
