The Gigabyte H273-Z82 Server is a 2U high-density platform with 4x individual, dual-socket server nodes supporting AMD EPYC 9004 series processors. Each of the server nodes can support up to 6TB of DDR5 3DS Registered DIMMs (RDIMM) or up to 3TB using standard RDIMMs. There are 8x NVMe, SATA, SAS hot-swappable storage bays on the front, with each server node assigned 2x of the drive bays. All nodes feature 1x M.2 Gen4 interface using an optional extension riser card, plus 1x PCIe gen5 x 16 expansion slot, and 1x OCP 3.0 Gen5 x16 mezzanine card slot.
There are two revisions to the Gigabyte H273-Z82 Server, rev. AAN1 and rev. AAW1. Both are designed to support hyperconverged infrastructures and for use as a hybrid/private cloud server. Management is via the integrated management port or via the Chassis Management Controller. The only difference between the two revisions is the power supply units supported.
