The chassis holds 8x DDR4 DIMM slots that can be equipped with up to 2TB of memory, depending on the CPU, ensuring that even the most demanding workloads don’t slow down your production. The platform has 10x drive bays that can be outfitted with SATA, SAS, and U.2 NVMe drive formats. 6X 2.5” SATA/SAS hot-swappable HDD/SSD bays and 4x 2.5” NVMe hot-swappable SSD bays can be found on the front panel. A single M.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 slot on the motherboard provides more storage or can be used to boot the OS.
With up to 64 cores and 128 threads, this system is capable of handling even the most complex computing tasks. Ideal for artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and networking applications, the R162-Z11 server is able to meet the unique needs of any business. Packed with features that deliver the speed, reliability, and scalability to succeed in today’s fast paced digital landscape, the system features 3x low-profile PCIe x16 slots and an OCP 2.0 Gen3 x16 mezzanine slot providing ample room for future upgrades. It can support up to 3x NVIDIA PCIe GPU cards. This platform has 2x revisions, varying in processor families and memory module support, and is powered by dual redundant 1200W 80 PLUS Platinum PSUs. SAS drives will require the installation of a SAS RAID card.
