Supported 6700-series processors with E-cores can deliver up to 144 physical cores and 144 virtual threads. Those with P-cores can provide up to 86 physical cores and 172 virtual threads. Each CPU family supports 8-channel memory architecture and between 88 to 136 PCIe Gen5 lanes, depending on your choice. The Gigabyte R164-SG0 server features 4x hot-swappable drive bays on the front, accommodating either 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives in Gen5 NVMe, SAS4, or SATA configurations. It includes 1x OCP 3.0 slot with PCIe Gen5 x16 bandwidth and supports two riser cards, providing access to 2x PCIe Gen5 x16 FHFL slots and 1x PCIe Gen5 x16 FHHL slot. One of the PCIe Gen5 x16 FHFL slots is specifically reserved for a dual-slot Gen5 GPU. Internally, this machine includes 2x M.2 slots with PCIe Gen5 x2 interfaces, compatible with 2280 or 22110 form factor drives. It is powered by dual 1300W 80+ Titanium redundant power supplies.

Gigabyte offers the Gigabyte Management Console (GMC) and Gigabyte Server Management (GSM) to manage the system, both free-of-cost. GMC is suitable for small clusters or individual servers, whereas GSM is ideal for larger server deployments. Both tools can monitor and manage systems locally or remotely through a browser-based graphical user interface.
