Gigabyte R165-DG2 Server

Featuring a single AMD EPYC 9006 series CPU, the Gigabyte R165-DG2 Server is designed to address AI, Visual Computing, networking, use as a hybrid/private cloud server, and AI inference. With 16-channel memory architecture, and 16x memory module slots memory can operate at peak memory speeds of up to 8000MT/s using DDR5 RDIMMs or up to 12800MT/s using Multiplexed Rank DIMMs (MRDIMM). MRDIMMs are only compatible with CPUs that offer performance cores.

There are 12x 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe/SATA /SAS-4 hot-swap bays along the front of the chassis, plus 2x PCIe gen4 x2 PCIe slots for 2x M.2 drive that can be used to boot the system. With 3x PCIe 6.0 x16 slots there are 2x full-height, full-length slots and 1x full-height, half-length slot on the Gigabyte R165-DG2 Server. PCIe 6.0 also doubles the bandwidth compared to PCIe 5.0 from 4GB/s per lane in each direction to 8GB/s per lane in each direction, respectively. This system supports a single dual-slot Gen6 GPU. The system is powered by dual 3200W 80 PLUS Titanium redundant power supply units (PSU).
