Supported CPUs include those with a maximum TDP of up to 225W at ambient 30°C. However, a TDP of up to 350W is supported under limited thermal conditions. The 1U Gigabyte R183-SF0 server features 1x PCIe Gen5 x16 dual slot for an AMD, NVIDIA, XILINX, or Qualcomm GPU card. It also supports 1x FHFL PCIe Gen5 x16 slot and 1x FHHL PCIe Gen5 x16 slot, plus 1x OCP 3.0 Gen5 x16 slot on the back of the chassis. Similarly, there is a dedicated management port, a mini display port, and dual 2000W 80 PLUS Titanium redundant power supplies. When 256GB 3DS RDIMMs are installed, up to 8TB of memory are available, meanwhile 3TB of RAM can be accessed with standard RDIMMs. The following memory speeds can be achieved depending on the processors installed:

• 5th Gen Intel Xeon: Up to 5600MHz (1DPC), 4400MHz (2DPC)
• 4th Gen Intel Xeon: Up to 4800MHz (1DPC), 4400MHz (2DPC)

If installing SAS drives, a discrete SAS controller card is required. All servers come with the Gigabyte Management Console pre-installed, which can be used to monitor and operate a single server or a small cluster. The Gigabyte Server Manager is for use with several servers or large clusters and can be downloaded.
