Gigabyte R183-Z93 Server

Ideal for virtual servers and file access across VPNs in networking applications, the AMD EPYC-powered Gigabyte R183-Z93 server has two sockets that can accommodate AMD EPYC 9004 or 9005 series processors, including those with 3D V-Cache Technology. Up to 6TB of memory can be installed using 3DS RDIMMs/LRDIMMs, or up to 2TB with conventional RDIMMs or LRDIMMs. The 1U platform has 3x M.2 slots with a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface and support for 2280/22110 cards. 4x 2.5” or 3.5" Gen5 NVMe/SATA/SAS4 hot-swappable bays on the front panel provide fast, secure storage.

Gigabyte R183-Z93 Server - System Overview

CPUs with up to 192 cores and 384 threads apiece can be installed. The system will support a configurable TDP of up to 300W at ambient 35°C, and a maximum TDP of 400W under certain conditions. Each CPU has an 12-channel memory architecture that can accommodate 12x memory module slots, or 24x DDR5 DIMMs in total. Gigabyte R183-Z93 rear

The system offers 2x PCIe x16 (Gen5 x16) FHHL slots in addition to the M.2 slots on the motherboard. It also supports dual OCP 3.0 slots with PCIe Gen5 x16 bandwidth. An optional GRAID SupremeRAID controller card is compatible for supporting NVMe or NVMe over Fabric in a RAID. There are 2x iterations of this model, each with a different power supply.
