Gigabyte R183-Z94 Server

The Gigabyte R183-Z94 server features dual sockets for AMD EPYC 9004 or 9005 series processors. Each CPU delivers a 12-channel memory architecture for a maximum memory of up to 6TB. This 1U platform holds 12x 2.5" Gen5 NVMe/SATA/SAS4 hot-swappable bays on the front of the server, plus 3x internal M.2 slots. It’s ideal for networking applications like accessing files via VPN and as a virtual server.

Processors with up to 192 cores and 384 threads and a configurable TDP of up to 300W at ambient 35°C are supported. However, under limited thermal conditions those with a TDP of up to 400W can be installed. 12x memory module slots per CPU provide a total of 24x DDR5 DIMM slots.

To manage the Gigabyte R183-Z94 Server, administrators can deploy a free-of-charge management application that comes pre-installed on every machine. The Gigabyte Management Console can monitor and control a single server or a small cluster. For large clusters or groups of servers, Gigabyte offers Gigabyte Server Manager or GSM. In addition to the 3x M.2 slots on the motherboard, the system supports 2x PCIe x16 (Gen5 x16) FHHL slots and 2x OCP 3.0 mezzanine slots with a PCIe Gen5 x16 bandwidth.
