The Gigabyte R185-D90 Server supports DDR5 RDIMMs or Multiplexed Rank DIMMs (MRDIMM). Memory speeds of up to 8000MT/ can be achieved with RDIMMs or up to 12800MT/s with MRDIMMs installed. There are 4x 3.5” drive bays on the front that can support NVMe, SATA or SAS-4 drives. There are also 3x M.2 drive slots on the system board with a 4th slot that’s disabled. With SAS or SATA drive types a storage controller is required. Powering the system are dual, redundant 3200W power supply units (PSU).
