In addition to the drive bays on the front of the Gigabyte R243-E33, there is a single M.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 slot on the motherboard to boot the OS supporting 2280 and 22110 cards. There are 3x FHFL PCIe Gen5 x16 slots for 3x dual-slot GPU cards. NVIDIA A40 and NVIDIA H100 GPUs are supported. 2x OCP 3.0 Gen5 x16 slots are situated on the rear of the platform for optional NIC support. Next to these slots, administrators will find dual 2700W 80 PLUS Titanium or 2400W 80 PLUS Platinum power supply units offering 1+1 redundancy.

The Gigabyte Management Console and Gigabyte Server Management can be used to manage the system. Both offer an intuitive web-based user interface based on the AMI MegaRAC SP-X, remotely accessed through the integrated Aspeed AST2600 baseboard management controller. Gigabyte’s Management Console is a one-to-one solution, whereas the Gigabyte Server Management suite is a one-to-many solution which leverages the Management Console to provide overall management of the network.
