Gigabyte R243-EG0 Rack Server

With a total of 12x DDR5 DIMM slots, the Gigabyte R243-EG0 houses a single AMD EPYC 8004 Series Processor. On the front of the system, there are 12x SATA/SAS drive bays which are compatible with both 3.5” and 2.5” drive form factors. To expand the capabilities of this server, there are 4x full-height, full-length PCIe 5.0 x15 slots that can be outfitted with up to 4x double-slot GPUs.

Ideal for graphic intensive workloads, the Gigabyte R243-EG0 supports a single AMD EPYC 8004 Series processor with up to 64x physical cores and 128x virtual threads. A single M.2 slot on the system board is ideal for fast access storage needs or OS installation. On the rear side of the system, there is a single management 10/100/1000 GbE LAN Port. An PCIe 5.0 x16 mezzanine card slot is compatible with OCP 3.0 and can provide optional network communications without impacting the limited PCIe slots. Depending on the revision it will be outfitted with 2x 2700W 80 PLUS Titanium power supplies or 2x 2400 80 PLUS Platinum PSUs in a 1 + 1 redundant configuration. System cooling is achieved with 4x high-performance fans.
