Outfitted with a single AmpereOne Family processor, the 2U Gigabyte R263-P33 Rack Server can provide a maximum memory capacity of up to 8TB. On the front of the system, there are 12x 3.5-inch drive bays, 4x of which are for Gen4 NVMe/SATA/SAS drives and the remainder for SATA/SAS drives. System expansion is achieved 3x PCIe Gen5 x16 full-height, full-length slots and a single PCIe Gen5 x8 full-height, half-length slot. It can support up to 3x dual-slot Gen5 GPUs.
With support for up to 3x high-performance GPUs and a single AmpereOne Family processor, the Gigabyte R263-P33 server is Ideal for high-performance computing applications. The CPU choice is limited to a thermal design power (TDP) range of up to 400W, which includes CPUs with up to 192x custom cores. There is a single 1Gb/s LAN Intel I210-AT port, plus a dedicated management LAN port on the rear of the chassis. The management port grants access to the Aspeed AST2600 baseboard management controller (BMC) for remote management of the system. Fast access storage or OS support can be met via the single M.2 PCIe Gen5 x4 slot found on the motherboard.
This server is powered by 2x 2400W 80 Plus Platinum power supplies in a redundant configuration, while system temperature is regulated by 4x 80mm fans. The Gigabyte Management Console comes pre-installed, granting access to remote management options via a web interface and is easy to integrate with third-party applications. The Gigabyte Management Console provides management for a single server or small cluster of servers. Gigabyte Server Manager or GSM provides for managing multiple servers and is compatible with IPMI and Redfish.
