the Gigabyte R263-S30 Server supports a single 4th or 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor from the Platinum, Gold, or Silver families, or the Intel Xeon CPU Max series. Boasting flexibility and power, the 2U system is capable of providing up to 64 cores and up to 4TB of memory at capacity. In addition, it can also be configured with Intel Optane Persistent Memory 300 series modules (PMem). There are 4 revisions of this chassis, each with 12x hybrid SFF or LFF hot-swappable drive bays on the front panel featuring different storage types. All have a single M.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 slot on the motherboard with support for 2280 or 22110 cards.
Designed for standard networking applications, the R263-S30 can be used as a shared Internet connection, a shared file server, for virtualization and as a VPN connection for remote workers. There are 4 revisions of this system: rev.AAC1, rev.AAC2, rev.AAH1, and rev.AAH2. These platforms vary between storage bays, PSUs, and expansion slots.
