Gigabyte R265-DG2 Server

Offering 16x 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe, SATA, SAS4 hot swap bays, the Gigabyte R265-DG2 Server can be used for standard networking applications or as a hybrid/private cloud server. It features a single AMD EPYC 9006 SP7 series CPU, and with a package power tracking (PPT) rating of up to 600W, which includes those with up to 256 physical cores and 512 virtual threads.

Additional Information

The single AMD EPYC 9006 SP7 series processor providing compute for the Gigabyte R265-DG2 Server features 16-channel memory architecture and supports 16x DDR5 memory module slots. Registered DIMMs (RDIMM) and Multiplexed Rank DIMMs (MRDIMM) are supported and provide memory speeds of up to 8000MT/s and 12800MT/s, respectively. In addition to the upfront storage bays, the system has 2x internal PCIe Gen4 x2 slots for NVMe M.2 drives. Those M.2 drives can be used to support the operating system.

Powering the system are 2000W 80 PLUS Titanium power supply units (PSU). There are 3x PCIe Gen6 slots with 1x full-height, full-length x16 slot, and 2x full-height, half-length x8 slots. If you are installing SAS or SATA drives a PCIe storage card is required.
