Gigabyte R283-S95 Server

With up to 8TB of DDR5 memory at maximum capacity, the 2U Gigabyte R283-S95 Server is supremely suited for a variety of standard networking tasks. It features 24x 2.5-inch front drive bays that can be outfitted with Gen4 NVMe, SATA, and SAS drive formats, although SAS drives do require a discrete SAS card. Two more SATA hot-swap drive bays are found on the back of the system. For network communications, the R283-S95 server has dual integrated 1GbE ports via Intel® I350-AM2, plus 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 mezzanine slots for an OCP 3.0 card and 4x full-height, half-length PCIe Gen5 x16 expansion slots. This system is powered by dual 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors.

Ideally suited for networking applications such as use as a file server or virtual server, it can also provide file access via VPN, host an Intranet, and provide for a shared Internet connection. This chassis comes in two separate revisions Rev. AAC1 and Rev. AAD1. As listed below, they offer slightly different storage and power supply options depending on your choice.
