5th generation Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs feature up to 64 physical cores and 128 virtual threads. CPUs with a TDP of up to 350W per socket are supported and offer 8-channel memory architecture. With 16 DIMM slots per socket, this system can be outfitted with 2x DIMMs per channel. It's crucial to keep in mind that certain PCIe or memory functionalities cannot be utilized to their maximum capacity if only one CPU is installed.

The Gigabyte R283-SF0 server is built for deep learning, scientific analysis, and mission critical workloads. It can host up to 4x dual-slot Gen5 GPUs from AMD, NVIDIA, XILINX, or Qualcomm using 4x FHFL PCIe Gen5 x16 slots. Providing additional expansion options are 1x FHHL PCIe Gen5 x16 slot and 1x OCP 3.0 Gen5 x16 slot that can be used for networking or support of a SAS controller card. There are two redundant, 2700W 80 PLUS Titanium PSUs to power the system. Every server comes with the Gigabyte Management Console pre-installed, which can be used to manage a small cluster or a single server. For large clusters of servers there is the Gigabyte Server Manager and is compatible with Windows or Linix operative systems.
