Gigabyte R283-Z90 Server

With dual 4th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, the Gigabyte R283-Z90 Server can provide up to 6TB of DDR5 3DS RDIMM memory modules across 24 DIMM slots. This platform features 12x 3.5-inch, hot-swappable Gen4 NVMe, SATA or SAS storage bays along the front with options for either a 2x or 4x 2.5-inch hot-swappable SAS, SATA drive cage in back, depending on the revision number. It also provides 3x slots on the system board for support of super-fast NVMe M.2 storage drives.

Gigabyte R283-Z90 Server - System Overview

Offering a 2U chassis, the R283-Z90 Server is designed for use as a shared Internet connection, general file server, for file access via VPN, use as a virtual server, and a number of other common networking applications. There are 3x different revisions available on this chassis, with changes to the type and number of drives supported and the number of drive bays available in the rear of the chassis. PCIe 5.0 expansion slots are also variable depending on the installed risers.
