Designed for use as a network server appliance, the Gigabyte R283-Z91 Server supports business critical workloads like virtualization, use as a shared Internet connection, file access for remote workers via VPN, and general file storage to name a few. The main differences between the revisions on these platforms include storage and expansion slots supported. Powering the system are dual redundant PLUS Platinum 1600W power supplies.
