Gigabyte R283-Z92 Server

Outfitted with dual AMD EPYC 9004 series processors, the Gigabyte R283-Z92 Server has 24x 2.5-inch hot-swappable drive bays in front, an option for 4x 2.5-inch hot-swappable in back, and 3x internal PCIe Gen 3.0 slots for M.2 drives. At full capacity it can provide up to 6TB of DDR5 memory, operating at speeds of up to 4800MHz. It’s designed for standard networking applications like use as a file server, a virtual server appliance, a shared Internet connection and many other business critical workloads. Compatible with PCIe 5.0 it offers 2x x16 expansion slots and 2x OCP 3.0 Gen5 x16 mezzanine card slots.

There are 8x different revisions to this server configuration with the main differences centered around storage options. However, supported backplanes are also different in some cases to support NVMe drive formats. Additionally, Internal I/O headers may be different as well.
