Providing 24x front Gen5 NVMe storage bays, the Gigabyte R283-Z96 Server is designed for networking applications. 4x more hot-swap SAS/SATA bays on the back of the system and 2x ultra-fast M.2 NVMe drives on the system board bump total supported storage up to 30x drives. Dual AMD EPYC 9004 or 9005 series CPUs with a Thermal Design Power rating of up to 400W deliver up to 192 cores, each. 9004 series processors support up to 6TB of DDR5 memory modules, plus PCIe Gen 5.0. A SAS card is required for support of SAS drive formats.
