With support for up to 4x dual slot Gen5 GPUs, the 2U Gigabyte R283-ZF1 Server offers high-performance computing ideal for visual computing, and AI inference. Up to 2x AMD EPYC 9004 Series Processors can be installed on this server, with each CPU supporting 12x DDR5 DIMM slots for 24x total. Fully configured the maximum memory capacity is up to 6TB. Accessible from the front of the server, there are 4x 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe/SATA/SAS4 hot-swappable drive bays, 4x 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe hot-swappable drive bays, and 8x 2.5-inch SATA/SAS4 hot-swappable drive bays.
4x PCIe Gen5 x16 full-height, full-length expansion slots support GPUs double-wide GPUs. With no integrated LAN ports, aside from a dedicated RJ45 GbE management port, an additional full-height, half-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slot plus an OCP 3.0 mezzanine card slot are available for network or storage support. Designed for intensive computational applications, up to 2x AMD EPYC 9004 Series Processors can be installed on the Gigabyte R283-ZF1.
Powering this system there are 2x 2700W 80 Plus Titanium power supplies in a redundant configuration. The storage configuration on this system includes 16x hybrid drive bays, accessible from the front of the system. If installing SAS drives, a discrete SAS card is required. In order to meet fast access storage needs, there is 1x M.2 slot per processor on the system board.
